Well its just about settled. Come late March I'll be giving up my lease on Oscar (his mom comes back in April) and starting a lease on Lucy!
It means that I'll get to show some this summer and it will be fun teaching her how to do trail and showmanship. I'm excited because it will mean that I don't have to 'share' anymore, although Oscar's mom wasn't around much this winter.
I did get out to ride on Monday on Oscar but I still wasn't feeling 100% and he could tell. We ended up just going around a bunch of times and trotting some frustration out. I had to be off all my antiinflamitorys for the weekend (just in case, after my scope) and I held off on taking my immunosuppressants for a couple of days too. I'm almost back to normal so I'll be getting back into the saddle tomorrow.
