Finaly some good news

E is on the road to recovery!  The doctors have found out that the stroke was caused by very thick blood, not a blood clot or clots.  Shes the youngest that they have ever found with it, and is now on blood thinners.  There is great hope that because she did not suffer any paralazation just nerve damage that her recovery may be quicker than if she had some.  It will be a long recovery, but she was a young woman in great health so the doctors are being very positive.

I got in another ride today and I'm having so much fun riding Oscar.  :)  He's just a lovely horse to ride. I can trust him enough to work on my own position while he keeps trotting along (lots of two point which I am going to pay for tomorrow!)  and then we work on getting him a little more correct once I'm using my body more correctly.

I have signed up for a lesson with D next week.  I want some help with what I can't see while I'm riding him.  We've also have a plan to work on some trail things over the next couple of months to improve both of our skills.

A little video I shot of Oscar today for his owner.

Happy to hear that your friend is going better. What a hard thing to go through for a teen. I am glad you have Oscar to keep your mind off all the things you are going through. He sure is cute.
