Well they realesed the Amature and Youth points today. The owner got 24 points in Amature mares, and his son got 20 points in youth mares. To get there superiors they both need 50 points so they are well on there way to getting them next year (if we keep our fingers crossed!!!)
In total that means that she came out of 2008 with 109 points. This does not include her Hunter in Hand class points (I think she got 3 or 4 points in that...) (its essently a class based on the horses movement to be a hunter horse, she showed against mares of all ages, and one once, not bad at all for a yearling!)
Ive stoped lessons for the time being, I thought we would be able to start riding soon at home. But the weather is not helping any. Went out the last two nights and got a ton of hair off her, and lunged her on Monday night. The hands have not been good lately....
I start work on monday.... should be intresting, working both in the office and doing some stuff in the shop, so I dont have to dress up all the time (Yippie!!) Still dont have a fill time position anywhere, and thats stressing me out, no job with medical means stress... drugs cost about $2500 a month.....the goverment is covering me while at school and work term but...
